It is very well known that the Hindustan Times is very close to the Congress,a leading national political party.One of its most senior journalist acts and behave like the spokesperson of the Congress.His endeavour would not be futile and he would be compensated according to his stature.One hopes these kind of people are not rewarded with a Rajya Sabha seat.

Now the symptom seems to have spread to other publications  as well.Today Mint carried out an article written by some Akar Patel.This gentleman seems to be expert in writing marketing copy which would be of great use for Radia type ventures.The gentleman does not know the caste systems at all.Yet he has tried to dwell into the subject only for the purpose best known to him.He is entitled to express his views the way he deem fit without offending others.It is the prime responsibility of the publication to take guard against these types of promotional material.If this trend continue Mint too would become the mouthpiece of the Congress and would have no credibility left.
