As expected,Arun Shouri defended himself and his party,The BJP and highlighted the design behind the malicious campaign launched by the union minister Kapil Sibbal to extricate Raja from the clutch of Law at any cost.Arun Shouri has thousands of admirers and it was expected of him.An honest person and a man of impeccable integrity like him should fear none.
Kapil Sibbal on the other hand is trying to fill the void of Amar Singh.That is unfortunate because he was among the few ministers who was perceived to be doing his job properly.His work was recognised and he was suitably rewarded also.This sudden status-elevation seems to have gone in his head that was very clear the way he was talking to the journalists including the very dynamic Rajdeep Sardesai.Kapil Sibal seemed very comfortable in the cozy combine of NDTV only otherwise he was bordering on arrogance at most other places.His interaction with Ashutosh was not pleasant either.
The Nation Lost "Zero Revenu:"Kapil Sibal had declared and he had to eat his own words when Raja was arrested.His own credibility has plummeted to zero level,instead.
It is true that he is an eminent lawyer and he is expected to behave not like any sundry politician.Otherwise people will disapprove any politicians like him and treat them as they treat politicians.He is expected to deliver and set example instead of trying to keep his political masters in good humour.He must remember that when ManMohan Singh can not escape media scrutiny then he is still a small fish in the pond.
BJP should be once again project itself as the party with a difference and credible person like Yaswant Sinha,Arun Shouri,Kirti Azad,Navzot Singh Siddhu and many others should be given prominence.People are no fool and a bad apple will spoil the whole basket.
