There was indeed a momentum for the BJP in general and Narendra Modi in particular .The enthusiasm was not limited to any particular geography.Even in southern parts of India Modi had become a big draw.But the person credited to founding the party spoiled the atmosphere.
Congress seized upon the opportunity and exploited the situation to the hilt.Now it seems that the issue has been settled and the party can concentrate upon the real issue.
