BJP Deserves Defeat In Karnataka

As expected,BJP has been decimated in Karnataka.The message was written on the wall and the result was expected beforehand.The worst part of the story however is that now the extremely corrupt Congress has got the mandate to manipulate the state for the next five years.

Congress had allowed Raj Shekar Reddy to do whatever he wished in Andhra Pradesh.It ignored various media reports about the thousands of Crores swindled by a few politicians of the state.Raj Shekhar Reddy used that mony effectively and delivered the result for his party.Congress in turn ignored charges against him and he went into strengthening his position until his unfortunate death.

Jagan Mohan Reddy ,the son of Raj Shekhar Reddy showed the guts and tried to equate himself with the crown prince.His contention was that if the crown prince can inherit the power so can he.The congress was dumped into the dustbin and it was his father's solitary effort that allowed it to wrest the power yet again.

This was not received well and the CBI was let loose after him.He had to pay the price for his father's audacious act.Congress showed yet again that as long as you accept the servitude of the Italian wing of Gandhi family you are allowed to plunder India.The moment you assert yourself you are in trouble.


BJP had failed miserably in confronting the Congress.The way Advani gave clean chit to Gandhi family is baffling and just one example how it behaves meekly when it is about the Gandhi family.Only now it has mustered some guts and has raised questions about the corrupt means adopted by the "Damad of the family".



But the congress did not show mercy and magnified the corruption of Yedurappa thousandsfold.BJP did not provide clean governance so it deserves the defeat and there is no question aboyt that.Now the BJP has to introspect about that Karnataka leader who shared a very cozy relations with the Neera Radia.The perception towards him is very negative yet he is amongst the most influential leaders of the party at the centre.The party has to be vigilant in future and be bold in dealing corruption issues.
