Nitin Gadkari seems to have done his home well and he will perhaps give the Bhartiya Janata Party the much needed face lift which it requires very badly at this juncture.Mr.Gadkari wants to run the BJP as an NGO and has stressed upon the accountability factor.
BJP central leadership is revolving around a few people who have no mass base of any kind.These are media created leaders and their politics ends with media sermons.They never talk about corruption,efficiency in governance and other issues related to the common people.Leaders with impeccable integrity like Yashwant Sinha,Arun Shouri and many others are not given their due and the coterie of L.K.Advani have been awarded with the party plum posts.
In the state unit also,absolutely defunct leaders like Vinod Narayan Jha is made the party spokesman.He is the type of leaders who absolutely hate to do something for their electorate that too when their commission is fixed for every every project and this is an open secret.
If Mr.Gadkari can force his fellow BJP leaders to work for the issues related to the common men at the grass root level than the BJP can regain its lost space quickly.Hopefully Mr.Gadkari will inject this stream of thought among his party office bearers.
